Hi there, Alex and the rest of you
this proggy is really cool, lighweight and flawless (well..), i am delighted
BUT, i am kinda newbie to this thing and i was wondering if there's a place where i can read about the commands i can issue as an ircop/irc admin on ngircd.
i also have a small problem with the [Channel] section, it seems i can only define one channel
although i added two more [Channel]'s ngircd ignores them.. any idea? i am sure the syntax is correct (are you sure there's no [/…
[View More]Channel] tag?) :-)
Another thing: could i specify a number of joins for a host only? i would like to use Eggdrop as a pseudo-chanservices but with what i know till now that would mean to set the max joins to unlimited.. which is quite crappy.
Thanks in advance.
keep up the good job!

Hello!
ngIRCd 0.7.7 is out right now!
Changes since 0.7.6:
- The info text ("real name") of users is set to "-" if none has been
specified using the USER command (e. g. "USER user * * :"). Reason:
the original ircd doesn't like empty ones and would KILL such users.
- Fixed (optional) TCP Wrapper test which was broken and could result
in false results. Thanks to Fuminori Tanizaki <tany(a)mcnet.ad.jp>!
- Removed "USE_" prefixes of configuration #defines.
It's available …
[View More]as usual from (~264 KB):
- <ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/ngircd/ngircd-0.7.7.tar.gz>
- <ftp://Arthur.Ath.CX/pub/Users/alex/ngircd/ngircd-0.7.7.tar.gz>
And the patch from 0.7.6 to 0.7.7 (~9 KB) and GnuPG signatures:
- <ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/ngircd/>
- <ftp://Arthur.Ath.CX/pub/Users/alex/ngircd/>
Have fun!
Regards
Alex
