one question:
as far as I understood, the ngIRCd should connect to the next server in one group, in case the first doesn't answer? Is that right?
In my configuration (newest Debian package of the ngIRCd), the server tried to connect to the first server, but ignores the second. As soon as I comment the first out, it connects to the "second".
Any hints?

Yes.

What does "ngircd --configtest" display? Are both servers shown (two "[server]" blocks)? Do they have the same group number? Any error messages?
