My mail anouncing ngIRCd 0.8.0-pre2 would have been even bett with a nice subject line ... my fault.
You should have received the anouncement a few minutes ago with the subject "[ngIRCd-ML] (no subject)"; if not, for example due to spam detection tools, you can re-read it online here:
